Inspired by baby talk, Dadaism, contemporary poetry, and the sounds of old and new music, four music performers declaim, sing, whisper, play music, and interact with their audience. Wortlaut (word sound) works with imagination and joy in nonsense - and at the same time examines the fluid border area between music and language. The result is a joyfully stirred-up mishmash of musical language and spoken sound. The Veedel stages are transformed into a musical playground for babbling along, dancing, and opening your ears.

Catherine Klipfel (Piano), Catherine Klipfel (Actor), Gillian Lampater (Flute), Gillian Lampater (Actor), Gillian Lampater (Concept)
Baba Jaga, a little witch, is bored despite trying all weekly spells, tidying her house, and eating chocolate. She summons her friend Cat, a talented piano-playing sorceress. They share stories, reminisce, and create enchanting music together. Anyone who happens upon them can join in the fun and celebration until it's time to say goodbye at the gate, hopefully until they meet again soon.
